Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and ascertain suitable treatment strategies.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans geared towards achieving trauma recovery and fostering resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that allow patients to process their traumatic experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care is provided to each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies related to trauma to support patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available resources for recovery.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance the effectiveness of trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice focuses on trauma survivors, encompassing a diverse range of individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
\n
• Solid knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies, including resilience-building strategies.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Adept at managing high-stress situations while remaining calm and composed.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
