Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate the trauma histories of your patients, determining their specific therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on fostering recovery and building resilience through evidence-based approaches.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help patients navigate their trauma.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that enable patients to work through trauma, develop coping skills, and promote psychological healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals for integrated, holistic patient care to ensure comprehensive support.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and efficacy in urgent situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, share coping strategies, and inform them about available community resources.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using supported electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices within our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will employ a compassionate and empathetic approach, tailoring your therapeutic strategies to support their unique healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities designed to support resilience and recovery.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• A calm presence in high-stress situations, ensuring effective crisis management.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and adept with computer applications crucial for maintaining patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with additional expertise in trauma-focused therapy, group therapy facilitation, or specialized certifications in treatment modalities are strongly encouraged to apply.
