Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's psychological background, trauma history, and mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that clients receive the best possible care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, establish effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in trauma-related emergencies and offer a safe space for them to express their feelings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes trauma survivors from diverse backgrounds experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Demonstrated strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Adeptness in managing high-stress situations with poise and calmness.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapy is preferred, we are open to enthusiastic candidates eager to grow in their careers. Experience with specific trauma-focused interventions would be a plus.
