Work Environment\n

As a remote full-time employee within a community health clinic setting, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Our digital infrastructure supports seamless communication between therapists, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive the integrated care they deserve. Our schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some adjustments may occasionally be necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' unique trauma histories, allowing you to identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a unified, comprehensive approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and support system.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client focus for this role includes individuals who have suffered from severe trauma, particularly those presenting with complex PTSD and associated symptoms. Your work will directly influence their healing journey, enabling positive outcomes through a supportive therapeutic relationship and structured intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and evidenced-based practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
