Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each client's trauma history and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate clients' recovery processes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, offering guidance and assistance during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available for further support and recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation to meet legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights that focus on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
