Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, incorporating the latest evidence-based therapies.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and on-the-spot support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available healing resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development activities geared towards trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals of various backgrounds who have experienced trauma. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their emotional and psychological challenges, aiding in their recovery and resilience-building in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology to ensure efficient operations.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in settings focused on trauma recovery. Familiarity with evidence-based trauma therapies and a track record of successful patient outcomes in mental health counseling will be significant assets.

Compensation and Benefits\n
