This position is remote, providing the flexibility to serve our patients from the comfort of your home while collaborating closely with a supportive team of professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Myriad Mental Well-being Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess the mental health needs of trauma injury patients.
\n
• Diagnosing mental health disorders and collaborating with patients to create effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitoring progress to ensure effective treatment.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to help patients develop coping strategies and resilience in the face of trauma.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma, stress management, and available resources.
\n
• Coordinating care with external social and medical agencies to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
\n
• Engaging in continuous professional development and education to keep abreast of the latest practices and research in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients primarily comprise individuals affected by trauma, whether due to personal experiences or contextual challenges. By focusing specifically on trauma-informed care, you will help patients overcome barriers to mental health and navigate a path towards recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
\n
• At least three years of experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences and skills would enhance your application:

Compensation and Benefits\n
