Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and determine the most appropriate treatment interventions.

• Craft and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to process their experiences and share coping strategies.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and assist patients as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them to manage their mental health effectively.

• Maintain accurate and secure patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients affected by various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our practice adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach, ensuring that care is tailored to each individual's specific experiences and mental health needs. Your role will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficient in utilizing EHR systems and adapting to new technologies relevant to telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
