Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, utilizing tools such as standardized questionnaires and interviews.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique addiction issues and underlying mental health challenges, incorporating evidence-based practices designed to promote sustainable recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions by employing proven therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with fellow treatment professionals to ensure a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to client care, participating in regular team meetings and strategy sessions.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process and enhancing the overall therapeutic environment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to ensure the integrity of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face varying challenges, which requires you to apply your empathy and professional skills to help them navigate their recovery paths effectively. You will also encounter unique circumstances, such as clients in crisis or those who have faced relapses, and will need to provide immediate support and intervention as required.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong foundational knowledge of addiction counseling and evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate clients through their recovery processes.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
