Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide critical therapeutic services from the comfort of your own home. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts needed to accommodate patient availability. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients needing treatment for substance use disorders, formulating clear, individualized treatment goals.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions to provide personalized support while offering group therapy sessions that foster community and shared recovery experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless, integrated care to our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to patients during substance-related emergencies, ensuring safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, adhering to both legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

• Stay informed about and implement the latest research and best practices in the field of addiction treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily supports individuals experiencing challenges with substance use disorders, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, often navigating complex socio-economic factors. Your ability to engage with these clients empathetically and effectively will play a crucial role in their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey is a must.

• Solid understanding of substance use disorders and a familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to client care.

• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared clinical goals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of direct experience in providing mental health counseling within the context of substance use disorders is preferred.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, accompanied by potential bonuses and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
