Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and inform treatment planning.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique recovery goals and foster resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate holistically with psychiatrists and other professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention and support as needed during trauma-related incidents.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms to enhance their understanding and capacity for healing.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a relevant and authentic record of patient care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on trauma treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
