Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and inform treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma experiences, enhance coping strategies, and foster self-efficacy.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated and coordinated patient care.

• Perform crisis intervention as necessary, offering timely support and resources during trauma-related emergencies.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and therapeutic methodologies related to trauma care, enhancing your therapeutic skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be crucial in serving individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including physical, emotional, and psychological trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, effective trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Established experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to a compassionate, non-judgmental approach in patient interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is the minimum requirement, we encourage candidates with extensive backgrounds in trauma-focused therapies, particularly those with formal training in EMDR or TF-CBT, as these skills will greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience with providing telehealth services is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
