Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's trauma history, strengths, and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote trauma recovery and build resilience, incorporating best practices from evidence-based therapies.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions where patients can process their trauma experiences in a safe space, while also offering group therapy to foster community and shared learning.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care strategies for each patient.

• Provide real-time crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute trauma-related emergencies and offer stabilization strategies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them through knowledge.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records compliant with legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma-related therapies preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
