Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and trauma history.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to aid clients in processing trauma, learning coping techniques, and fostering emotional healing.
\n
• Cooperate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and effective care plan for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your training to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms, trauma responses, and available resources to promote informed recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development activities, staying informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus primarily on clients affected by significant trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, veterans, and individuals dealing with PTSD. You will engage with diverse populations, ensuring that you adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards patients.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure environments.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who bring a fresh perspective and are eager to learn. Experience in trauma-focused therapies is highly advantageous and will support your integration into our dedicated team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
