Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the trauma history of patients and guide treatment planning.

• Develop and personalize treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the development of coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop resilience, and promote healing, offering both individual and group formats.

• Collaborate interdisciplinary with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support whenever trauma-related emergencies arise.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, while remote access ensures that support is readily available.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards by documenting all patient interactions accurately and confidentially.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on advancements in trauma therapy practices through ongoing education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center primarily serves individuals struggling with trauma-related issues, including those with PTSD and complex trauma histories. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess an active and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in trauma-related disorders as well as trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, characterized by a compassionate disposition and an ability to connect with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, delivering trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
