Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being a part of a supportive team environment. We emphasize collaboration and open communication within our team, leveraging modern technology to maintain a connection with colleagues and clients alike. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the patients' scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for new clients, carefully evaluating their trauma histories to establish effective treatment plans.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building and emotional regulation.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to share experiences and develop coping mechanisms in a group context.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance our trauma-informed care approach and share insights.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with individuals suffering from varying degrees of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and other related dissociative disorders. Our focus on trauma-informed treatment ensures that every patient is met with empathy and understanding, creating a safe space for healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations while advocating for patient welfare.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with technology as it relates to remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
