Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds, experiences, and specific treatment needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing therapeutic modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate skill-building sessions that enable patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies for everyday challenges.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure holistic support for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to safeguard client well-being and ensure immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms, trauma responses, and community resources available to assist their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies with demonstrated success in patient therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
