Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide care from a telehealth setting while maintaining a strong connection with our integrated team. Our emphasis on a collaborative work culture fosters ongoing professional development and supports the delivery of high-quality care to our clients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate the patients’ trauma histories and delineate appropriate treatment paths.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and enhancing patients’ resilience, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
\n
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients by equipping them with coping strategies to process and heal from trauma.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrative care approaches.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and actionable support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the psychological impacts of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring accountability and transparency in patient care.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to continuous learning and improvement in trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with patients who are survivors of trauma, addressing a diverse range of mental health challenges. Our focus on post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders necessitates an empathy-driven approach, ensuring each patient feels safe and understood throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed approaches, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a deep-seated commitment to patient-centered care that embodies compassion, respect, and non-judgment.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to document patient interactions and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally in settings focusing on trauma and recovery.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that support patient healing and empowerment.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and engaging in continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
