Allegiance Mental Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fulfilling full-time remote role. Our ideal candidate will possess the compassion and expertise required to provide vital mental health support to individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to provide critical mental health services to a diverse patient population from the comfort of your home. Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. As a member of our community health clinic, you will participate in regular virtual team meetings and collaborative case consultations to foster a cohesive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and specific needs, ensuring that you select the most effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience, and patient empowerment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Assist clients in processing traumatic experiences, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall emotional well-being.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and support integrated treatment plans.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and urgent support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the array of resources available for support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in line with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research, therapies, and methodologies in trauma treatment to continue enhancing your practice.

The patients you will serve at Allegiance Mental Healthcare include individuals from various backgrounds and experiences who have been profoundly impacted by trauma. You will engage with adults and adolescents who are navigating their unique healing journeys, creating an environment for them to feel heard, understood, and supported.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapy or related mental health services.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• A proven track record of using trauma-focused interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a strong commitment to working as part of an interdisciplinary team will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
