Get Well Counseling Center LTD, located in Lowell, Massachusetts, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage with individuals facing the profound challenges associated with trauma. Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible work-from-home setting, ensuring that you can balance your professional commitments with your personal life. While the majority of your work will be conducted remotely, our outpatient office in Lowell will serve as a collaborative hub where you can interact with colleagues, share insights, and participate in team meetings. Our schedule, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, provides a structured framework, with some flexibility afforded to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, ensuring individualized and appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on recovery, resilience, and coping strategies informed by the latest therapeutic practices.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma experiences and enhancing coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintain collaborative relationships with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for every patient.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and effective assistance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
\n
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly and accurately, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and team meetings that focus on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously stay informed about the latest research in trauma therapy to provide cutting-edge support to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes but is not limited to, survivors of abuse, individuals coping with loss, and those facing significant life transitions arising from traumatic events. You will play a pivotal role in helping these clients navigate through their struggles, empowering them to reclaim their narratives and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• Fundamental understanding and knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy and a non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems along with competency in computer applications for practice management.
\n
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-specific populations is preferred.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and an established record of contributing to successful patient outcomes.

• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies in high-stress scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits\n
