Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing trauma-informed counseling services tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families, utilizing proven therapeutic methodologies.

• Incorporating Christian counseling principles into therapy sessions for clients seeking faith-based support, ensuring that treatment is respectful and meaningful.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on in-depth assessments of client needs, goals, and preferences.

• Delivering counseling services to clients referred from local churches while actively engaging in community outreach to build your caseload.

• Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, including social workers and clinical counselors, to deliver comprehensive care that fosters client well-being.

• Maintaining accurate and timely client records, entering progress notes into our electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate continuity of care.

• Communicating effectively with the center director regarding scheduling, client load, and operational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing trauma, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families seeking holistic support. Our client population spans various demographics, emphasizing a compassionate approach that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of every individual.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• A strong grounding in the Bible and/or biblical counseling techniques.
\n
• Independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington, or in the process of obtaining licensure.
\n
• Willingness to pursue training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) if not already completed within three months of hire.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• A compassionate and empathetic approach that prioritizes confidentiality and adherence to ethical counseling guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
