Work Environment\n

This position is performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative team approach. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, ensuring our counselors can effectively reach clients in a comfortable setting. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and determine tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and client empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, cultivating coping strategies, and encouraging healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree: Candidates must possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensure: Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is required.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on trauma-related interventions, is preferred.

• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, suitable treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches is essential.

• Interpersonal Skills: Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, marked by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications is necessary for effective documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
