Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement individual and group therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver evidence-based practices that help patients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and ultimately foster resilience.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated and holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support clients during emergencies and acute trauma-related situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, recovery strategies, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation aligns with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of adults and adolescents dealing with the repercussions of trauma. Many of our patients are survivors of abuse, neglect, or significant loss, and they seek a therapeutic environment conducive to personal growth and healing. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their trauma recovery journey within a safe and empathetic framework.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused or related fields.
