Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and mental health status, establishing appropriate and personalized treatment approaches.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address the nuanced needs of clients.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote their healing journey.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting empathy and a respectful, collaborative manner in interactions.

• Ability to effectively manage stress and remain composed in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
