Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gauge the history and severity of each patient's trauma.

• Formulating and executing personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery, resilience, and the holistic well-being of patients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) within individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions to foster community and shared healing experiences among patients.

• Providing crisis intervention support during acute trauma responses, ensuring patient safety and immediate care.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping strategies for better management of their conditions.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development and case consultations to remain current on trauma therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on individuals impacted by trauma, including those exhibiting symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and treatments.

Preferred Experience\n
