Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand each client's trauma history and identify effective treatment methods tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their healing journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their trauma narratives, coping strategies, and the healing process.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and treatment integration.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to aid in recovery.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulations.

• Engage proactively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Preferred Experience\n
