Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, building a space for clients to share their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated treatment for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, enhancing patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and relevant community resources to bolster their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus primarily on individuals experiencing a range of trauma-related disorders including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Working with this diverse client population requires sensitivity, expertise, and a strong commitment to empowering patients through their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is crucial.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
