Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' histories and current mental health status, which will aid in formulating effective treatment protocols.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that specifically address each patient's trauma and promote their recovery through resilience-building strategies.

• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring the highest quality of care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, equipping them with coping mechanisms, and fostering their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist within the state of New Jersey.

• 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect empathetically with patients and their families.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications is critical for maintaining patient records.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and effectively contribute to team dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
