This position offers the flexibility of remote working arrangements, allowing you to engage with clientele in the comfort of their own space while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma histories of patients and create customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based psychological interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to deliver integrated mental health care and ensure holistic support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during instances of trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed practices and therapeutic innovations.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously refine therapeutic skills and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families, focusing on fostering resilience and recovery in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Superb interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering care with compassion and respect for patient dignity.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and adapting to various computer applications relevant to mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
