Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Quail Run Health System, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and current emotional health, ensuring the identification of effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on promoting recovery from trauma and enhancing the resilience of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your practice.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at aiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping skills.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure continuity in treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families on the complexities of trauma responses and available coping resources to promote understanding and trust.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
