Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility in your work setup while allowing you to connect with clients through telehealth technology. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with virtual therapy sessions and proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient confidentiality and documentation standards. Our remote structure encourages a healthy work-life balance, with scheduled hours typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while remaining responsive to the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ history and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop individualized recovery plans that focus on enhancing resilience and facilitate the healing process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client recovery.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to share experiences, develop coping strategies, and process trauma.

• Collaborate proactively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective care.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and equip them with tools for coping and resilience.

• Responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential documentation following legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate regularly in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment delivery and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with the aftereffects of trauma, including adolescents and adults who may be dealing with the debilitating impacts of PTSD, complex trauma, or related disorders. Understanding and addressing the unique experiences and challenges faced by these clients are paramount, as you will be guiding them on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Completed Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
