Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma and building resilience, utilizing therapeutic methodologies such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and achieving personal growth.

• Engage in collaborative care by working with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, well-rounded support for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention services aimed at addressing immediate needs during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, helping them to understand and navigate their experiences and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards while protecting patient confidentiality.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities aimed at improving trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about emergent research and advancements in the field of trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, leading to various mental health challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Your compassionate, client-centered approach will empower these individuals, helping them to reclaim their lives and foster resilience. The collaborative environment of our outpatient practice will allow for tailored interventions designed to meaningfully address each client’s unique needs and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proven expertise in various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, including:
