Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine optimal treatment pathways.

• Design, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma and enhance resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring effective and measurable outcomes.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe atmosphere for clients to process their experiences and develop essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated support, ensuring that treatment plans encompass all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, displaying quick thinking and responsiveness to client needs.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and resources for further support.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accuracy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges between $90,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience.
