This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to administer therapy sessions from your location. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools to evaluate clients' trauma history and treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting resilience and addressing clients' unique circumstances.

• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate processing of traumatic experiences and develop coping strategies for everyday challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Respond to crises effectively, offering immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, empowering them to understand their responses and navigate available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms. These may include survivors of domestic violence, childhood abuse, military veterans dealing with PTSD, and individuals with a history of complex trauma. By utilizing a trauma-informed lens in your practice, you will help clients navigate their emotional and psychological challenges while fostering their pathway to healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW , LPCC , or LMFT within the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to patient interactions.
\n
• Ability to remain composed and effective in highly challenging situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and robust computer competency.
\n
• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions will greatly contribute to your success in this role. A demonstrated ability to engage diverse populations compassionately and effectively is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
