Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patient history and develop appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiming to enhance patients' coping strategies while assisting them to process and heal from trauma.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to assure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support for trauma-related emergencies to safeguard patient wellbeing.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, responses, coping techniques, and available therapeutic resources.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient documentation, complying with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care principles.

• Stay informed about the latest research in trauma therapy, ensuring the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily include adults who are navigating the complex impacts of trauma. Many of our clients present with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, requiring a nuanced understanding and specialized intervention strategies tailored to their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience within the field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
