Work Environment\n

This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a remote setting, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with patients. As a member of our virtual team, you will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and determine effective treatment paths.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on fostering recovery and resilience. These plans will use evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support for patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the care they need in critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards required of mental health professionals.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve care practices and remain up-to-date with the latest research in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will primarily be with individuals recovering from various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding these individuals through their healing journeys, helping them to confront and process their experiences in a supportive and empathetic manner.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in the field of trauma therapy.
