Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing flexibility while maintaining a close-knit, supportive team dynamic. Our therapists operate in a telehealth facility that leverages modern technology to engage with clients seamlessly. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate clients' trauma histories and inform treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and empowering clients to overcome their challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all facets of a client's mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support, ensuring immediate assistance during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss cases and professional development, reinforcing our trauma-informed care approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often face challenges in their day-to-day lives due to their traumatic experiences. As a mental health therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping them reclaim their narratives and navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

Preferred Experience\n
