This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized mental health care in a remote setting, focusing on individuals affected by trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is remote, providing flexible work opportunities while still being part of a collaborative and supportive team. Our outpatient office culture is built on strong connections among mental health professionals, where mutual respect and teamwork inform our practices. Expect to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, understanding that some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify individualized treatment needs.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans with specific goals focused on trauma recovery and fostering resilience.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage patients in both individual and group therapy sessions to help them work through trauma, develop coping skills, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, helping to stabilize patients in need.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to drive continuous improvement focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals coping with the effects of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the complexities involved in trauma recovery and possess the skills necessary to engage with diverse patient backgrounds compassionately and effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Possession of a current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Significant experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly desirable.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

• A calm demeanor under pressure, with the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and software applications necessary for documentation.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with multidisciplinary professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
