Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a balanced work-life situation while still engaging in meaningful therapy sessions with clients. While your primary work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring therapeutic goals align with each patient's needs.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy, creating a safe space for patients to explore their trauma experiences and foster coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care, enhancing the overall treatment experience for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance for those in distress.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available support networks.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will be working primarily with clients who have experienced significant trauma, which may include survivors of abuse, veterans, and individuals facing complex mental health challenges. Your role as a therapist is crucial in helping these patients navigate their experiences, offering them tools to process their emotions and develop coping strategies that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
