Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique mental health needs.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions, developing therapeutic interventions based on assessed needs to promote healing and resilience.

• Complete all necessary documentation and billing tasks accurately, including individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms, adhering to specific timeframes.

• Develop crisis management strategies, safety plans, and relapse prevention plans to empower clients and maintain stability in their lives.

• Create and implement effective discharge plans for patients transitioning out of therapy, ensuring continuity of care.

• Adhere to federal and state regulations as well as NEHS policies, maintaining compliance while delivering exceptional therapeutic services.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.

• Actively participate in case consultations and agency meetings to foster teamwork and share insights on best practices in mental health care.

• Complete all required licensure and mandatory training to remain a competent professional in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist with Phoenix Rising Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population across El Paso, Texas. The clients you serve may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. By using evidence-based therapeutic methods, you will facilitate clients' journeys toward recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field is required, leading to licensure.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in a similar role, showcasing expertise in various therapeutic modalities and an ability to assess and address a range of mental health issues. Compensation and Benefits\n
