Work Environment\n

Our work environment is entirely remote, utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth technology to facilitate connections with clients. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will receive support from a collaborative team of professionals who share a passion for addressing mental health issues in an inclusive manner. You will work a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and ensure access to care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to fit the cultural and personal backgrounds of each client.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address specific mental health concerns and foster resilience among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that supports clients' mental health goals.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance the overall care strategy.

• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and education in cultural competency and current best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client base composed of individuals from various ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and identities, including those from the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. You will have the opportunity to create culturally appropriate treatment plans and engage with clients in a way that respects and incorporates their unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid mental health license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural considerations in therapeutic practices.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy within a culturally responsive framework.
\n
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in challenging circumstances.

• Superb interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate building rapport with diverse clientele effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient interactions.

• A commitment to upholding professional boundaries and ethical standards in all client interactions.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with diverse populations in an outpatient setting, specifically in telehealth.

• Training in specific treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

• Experience in case management and coordination of care for complex cases.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
