Calm in Motion Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while focusing on providing critical support to individuals who have experienced trauma, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

This position is primarily remote, offering the convenience of working from home while maintaining a connection to our supportive team. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variability needed to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Skillfully conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly understand each patient’s trauma background, informing tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping mechanisms.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their experiences, establish coping strategies, and advance toward healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care that aligns with treatment objectives and enhances patient outcomes.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies by providing crisis intervention and immediate support, ensuring safety and rapid stabilization for patients.
\n
• Offer education and resources to patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, promoting understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation to meet ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate actively in case consultation meetings, team discussions, and continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices and the latest research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have endured various forms of trauma, including those living with PTSD, complex trauma backgrounds, and dissociative disorders. Our clients vary in age and demographic, but they all seek a compassionate and skilled professional to guide them through their recovery pathways. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping them regain their sense of safety, connection, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and interventions designed to facilitate healing.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, displaying compassion and a non-judgmental demeanor in all client interactions.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications to facilitate accurate documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting focusing on trauma-informed care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
