This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to perform your responsibilities from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection to the Sterling Counseling Services team. We provide a flexible work schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with adjustments as needed to meet patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to identify patient histories and needs.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and encouraging resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care.

• Delivering crisis intervention services and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
