Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own space while adapting to individual scheduling needs. Although based remotely, our outpatient office remains a hub of collaboration, offering a supportive team atmosphere. You may occasionally participate in in-office meetings to strengthen interpersonal connections and enhance team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments designed to capture patients' trauma histories and establish customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences of trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate and effective assistance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to foster a deeper understanding of the recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient privacy is upheld at all times.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops that concentrate on trauma-informed strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your therapeutic approach and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals of all ages affected by trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a trauma-focused therapist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering clients, promoting resilience, and facilitating their healing journey. You will often find yourself engaged with clients in various emotional states, requiring your expert skills to instill hope and foster recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally within trauma-informed care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, with demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have a rich background in trauma-focused therapies, including specific certifications in methodologies such as EMDR and TF-CBT. Familiarity with community resources and crisis management techniques is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
