Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment strategies that address each patient's unique experiences and needs.

• Implement and facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma recovery, ensuring a safe space for patients to process their experiences, learn coping mechanisms, and build resilience.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to provide integrated and holistic care to patients.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies with effective crisis intervention strategies, ensuring that patients receive immediate and supportive care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and strategies for coping and healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Completion of a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with specific exposure to trauma-focused therapies preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
