Work Environment\n

Our clinic utilizes a telehealth format, allowing for flexibility in providing patient-centered care remotely. This innovative approach not only enhances accessibility for our clients but also empowers our therapists to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. Our regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the historical and present impact of trauma on patients’ mental health and wellness.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Provide effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma experiences, develop adaptive coping strategies, and enhance their overall healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a diverse team of professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients, addressing all aspects of their health.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance and stabilization for patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources to aid in their recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient records reflect up-to-date treatment progress.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to continually refine your expertise in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma, including those presenting with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Our clinical environment is built on trust, safety, and collaboration, providing a nurturing space where clients can openly engage in their recovery journey. Our patient population is diverse, representing various backgrounds and experiences, which enriches the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies to enhance care delivery and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, especially working with trauma survivors.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a strong understanding of resilience-building techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
