In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to provide transformative mental health care focused on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with complex PTSD and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work setting, suited for those who thrive in a remote environment. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to meet patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma history and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment approaches focused on facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing process.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences, cultivate effective coping strategies, and foster an environment of healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care plan for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to support their journey.
\n
• Ensure precise documentation of patient progress and treatment activities in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine your therapeutic skills.

The patients you will serve are diverse individuals affected by a variety of trauma-related issues, ranging from childhood abuse to severe medical traumas. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Possession of 2 years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience, ideally in trauma-informed settings.
\n
• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and expertise in trauma-focused treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology commonly used in healthcare settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
