In this full-time role, you will work remotely, focusing primarily on delivering trauma-informed care to patients facing challenges related to trauma. Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space while still contributing to an inclusive and collaborative virtual atmosphere. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' se history and determine the most suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans that focus on empowering patients through trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients navigate their healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma experiences and gain coping skills.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and professional development in trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse patient population affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a critical role in their journeys towards healing, drawing upon your expertise to offer tailored support that addresses each patient’s unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and skills that promote resilience and coping.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations, providing calm and effective support.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
