Key Responsibilities\n

• Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, performing comprehensive assessments to identify risk factors, including suicidality and potential harm to self or others.

• Conduct professional admission assessments and welcoming intake processes for new patients, ensuring a supportive entry into mental health treatment.

• Actively engage in weekly treatment team meetings, collaboratively setting and reviewing patient treatment goals with a focus on continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Handle utilization reviews by providing appropriate clinical documentation to insurance companies to secure initial and ongoing treatment authorizations.
\n
• Maintain timely communication with family members, returning calls and emails promptly to ensure supportive networks are engaged in the treatment process.
\n
• Liaise with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding authorization and payment issues, facilitating a seamless coordination of care.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of a patient’s admission, working through a comprehensive discharge session to reinforce coping skills and ensure that patients understand their transition plans and continuity resources.
\n
• Manage crisis scenarios effectively during therapy sessions and collaborate with milieu staff to maintain a therapeutic environment that meets the needs of our patients.

• Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and within established timeframes, maintaining compliance and supporting the delivery of quality care.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an active, independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).

• Hold a Master's degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a sizeable caseload while coordinating with various providers and support staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
