Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, enabling you to engage with patients through our telehealth platform. Our dynamic environment emphasizes flexibility while maintaining professional boundaries and standards. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility based on patient needs, ensuring both patient and therapist requirements are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space that encourages patients to share their experiences and develop essential coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to create integrated care plans that address the holistic needs of each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, various coping mechanisms, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to and receiving valuable insights on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with trauma survivors, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative symptoms. You will assist individuals in navigating their trauma histories, emotional health challenges, and barriers to recovery, promoting their psychological well-being and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating successful outcomes in trauma-focused therapy.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with a clear understanding of resilience-building strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, providing crucial support for patients in crisis.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a range of relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
